Barry M Coconut Infusion Nail Paints

April 13, 2016 Fleur DeForce

Barry M are one of my all time favourite brands when it comes to nail polish. Cheap, cheerful and actually comparable in performance to many of the high-end brands, you can’t go wrong with one of their nail paints. Over the past few years they’ve introduced loads of different formulas. Whether it’s Daylight Curing, Gelly Shine or Speedy Quick Dry, I’ve been impressed by them all. Their latest addition to the lineup are the Coconut Infusion formulas.
These are designed to give you a glossy, gel-like finish whilst having added benefits for your nails thanks to the addition of coconut oil, coconut water and vitamins B & C into the formula...

There are nine shades in the range, four of which are nudes (I’m actually a big fan of all four of these, none of them are too orange-toned or grey-toned. They are all quite neutral and therefore more universally flattering for all skin tones) Then there are five more vibrant shades, including a gorgeous pink-lilac, a clean sky blue, a non-shrek-like green (and by that I mean flattering… flattering greens can be really hard to find!) a creamy orange and a bright pink. I have to say it’s pretty rare that I love every single shade in a collection, but that’s the case with this one - they are all stunning!
They apply really well (no surprises there) and true to their claims, leave a glossy finish. I’ve applied a base coat, two thicker coats of colour and a gel top coat in the pictures below. They last for about 4 days on me without any major chips but potentially longer if you’re a bit more careful than me (I’m pretty rough on my nails!) It hasn’t been long enough to note any difference in nail condition but I really love the whole concept of this range and would definitely recommend checking it out if you’re in the market for some new nail shades for Spring and Summer.
These are £4.99 and out now!
