I haven't been crazy about a Maybelline mascara for a few years, since the introduction the The Falsies and my previous obsession with The Colossal Volum' Express, but there's a new mascara on the block this year and let me tell you, it gives every other high street lash offering a run for their money!
Lash Sensational hit the shops a good few months ago now. I got my hands on it shortly after and I've been gravitating towards it ever since (yes, over all of my other high end mascaras.) It just seems to give you the perfect balance of volume, lift and definition and doesn't run...
The wand is rubber, which is not normally my favourite as they tend to result in a lack of volume and more definition, but for some reason, this larger, dense brush doesn't do that. The brush head itself is also slightly curved, which allows you to really get into the lashes and separate them while coating them all evenly. This is without a doubt one of my favourite new launches to hit the market this year. It's brilliant, affordable and accessible.
Here's a little before and after snap to compare the difference (although I did recently have LVL so my lashes are quite (read: extremely!) curled!!!) with no makeup at all in the left picture, and only mascara in the right.
It's a fab mascara and what's even better is that it's only £5.99. Run, do not walk, down to your local shop and try one yourself... it's amazeballs!
